Recycling Electrical and Electronic Scraps and Hunt for Concealed Treasures
Jump To References Section
Abstract
The European Union (EU) increases progressively the collection quota of old electrical and electronic instrument and restricts the illegal export of electronic scraps as usable alternative for old instrument. In future all the member states must exert more stringent measures in regards to collection of electronic scraps as emphasized by the competent authority. Within ten years most of the old instruments in EU will be collected and recycled. The instruments are often unsuitably destroyed which act unnecessarily on human health and environment as mentioned by the Chief Executive of the organization BVSE. The materials must be recycled and be placed at the disposal of the industries as high value secondary raw materials.
