Our nervous system works like electrical circuit. All our muscle movement and activities have been controlled by brain when it is electrically stimulated. In normal human body brain gets stimulated by its own physiological mechanism. What happens if we stimulate the brain from outside artificially by electrical energy? Can this artificial electrical stimulation be used as a treatment for some nerve damage in the brain? Yes, it can be. It is called brain pacemaker.
