Report of An Academic Event: International Conference on History and Development of Mathematics

Abstract

Recently from November 14-16 an International Conference on History and Development of Mathematics was held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. The conference was jointly organized by the Indian Society for History of Mathematics (ISHM) and Cell for Indian Science and Technology in Sanskrit (CISTS) with financial support from Science and Heritage Initiative (SandHI), IIT, Bombay. There were delegates from USA, New Zealand and from different Universities and academic institutions of India.
