Sustainable Development

Abstract

Sustainable Development is a very popular term nowadays. The dictionary meaning of the term ‘development’ is the act or process of developing. The word ‘develop’ means i) to bring out what is latent or potential, ii) to bring into a more advanced or more highly organized state, iii) to work out the potentiality, iv) to elaborate, v) to cause to grow or advance, vi) to build on or prepare for building on land, vii) to exploit the natural resources.
