Abstract

Having job in Indian Medical Service on October 23, 1881 Sir Ronald Ross arrived at Mumbai (Bombay). From there by train (according to Ross it was three days journey) he went to Madras (Chennai) to join Station Hospital there, a hospital for British troops only.
