Abstract

Imagine a star pair orbiting round their common centre of gravity in 30 days = 2592000 sec. in a virtual circle (eccentricity of the orbital ellipses are very small, nearly zero). The heavier one is like Rigel, having a mass of 65×1030 k.g.km. It is expected that it will be 20400 (or more) times brighter than the Sun, in accordance with the "Mass Luminosity Law", and more for Characteristic II. effect of Chapter-I, Art.12. Since the distance between the centre of gravities of the two stars will be only 6.09879 A.U. Its companion is as massive as Sun 1.984×1030 k.g. The orbiting velocity of the heavier star will be only 6 553.821203 metres/sec. (equation 2 of Chapter-1, Para 8) around their common centre of gravity.
