When we look a natural standing water body we are excited to know the biota and their feeding, breeding, diapauses, migration, catastrophe etc. On the other hand it seems puzzling to explain seasonal cycles, as when do it occurs and to what extent or are they permanently adapted or they have colonized for providing food or are they breeding grounds. Precisely three conditions are pronounced when a water body is small housed by few species, or a medium sized water body housed by numerous species or a large water body housed by fewer species. The above conditions is also supportive of the fact in first case Organic load increases leading to anoxic condition, and in second case due to luxuriant growth of vegetation houses many species and thirdly water is open enough not allowing some individuals to increase and are threatened to predation.
