Abstract

This paper presents a new model for evaluating students’ answer scripts using fuzzy logiQ. A qualitative model of student is generated which is able to provide a practical method for evaluating student academic performance. In this proposed evaluation the degree of satisfaction is defined in advance by experts with respect to levels of performance. Exam iner awards fuzzy marks into the fuzzy grade sheet according to each level of performance. From this, the degree of satisfaction for each question is calculated and the total score is calculated based on all questions in the question paper.
