Technological progress will continue and endow humanity with unprecedented power which will give rise to tremendous opportunities and risks. Since the advent of INTERNET, a set of crimes called Cyber Crimes have emerged. Governments around the world and religious institutions have not been able to update the laws on proactive basis to counter cybercrimes. This has led to grown up individuals using internet technology on their understanding of whether they are crossing the line in making ETHICAL and UNETHICAL decisions while children and teenagers lack similar understanding and may stumble into cybercrimes. In this context Pope Francis, head of Catholic religion cleared the way for a young boy named Carlo Acutis born in 1991 and died aged 15 in 2006 to become a saint of Catholic Church. This article creates awareness of Cyber Crimes and of many users of internet especially the younger generation and teenagers stumbling into cybercrimes by mistake as they cross the line of ETHICAL and UNETHICAL decisions in the absence of formal laws. An example of Carlos Acutis “Patron Saint of the INTERNET” is used to demonstrate that in a world full of distractions it is still possible to find the right way for all age groups irrespective of their religion or nationality.
2024-09-20T00:00:00+0530Copyright (c) 2024 https://informaticsjournals.co.in/index.php/ajpem/article/view/45945My Way or the Highway 2024-09-20T12:26:22+0530Warija Adigawarija@gmail.com
How a person decides is largely influenced by personal judgment, shaped by the environment and culture they are exposed to, past experiences, future outlook, and the current context. However, there are occasions when one disregards other competing perspectives and sticks to one’s own. This can be understood using the concept of a "blind spot" in driving. The rear-view mirrors in four-wheelers often miss an area on the side known as the "blind spot." If a driver does not look directly at the sides while changing lanes, they may miss an incoming vehicle, potentially resulting in an accident. Similarly, in life, innate blind spots can lead to poor judgment and decision-making. Blind spots make people adamant and unwilling to hear the opinions of others. Most disagreements can be resolved quickly if people are aware of their own blind spots and try to address them. This essay draws upon the ancient wisdom of Sanskrit literature to explore how perspectives influence decisions. It also shares suggestions from our sages on how to clear your mental blind spots for a clearer view.
2024-09-20T00:00:00+0530Copyright (c) 2024 https://informaticsjournals.co.in/index.php/ajpem/article/view/45947Evolvement of Education in Bharat2024-09-20T12:33:26+0530G. K. Nambiarabc@gmail.com
The author examines the ancient educational system in India and its advantages to mould a society with values. Under British rule the system was changed and English was introduced as the connecting language to retain power and rule India forever. Parents are mainly responsible to give value-based education to the child and should be a role model. They are responsible to mould the child with values, character and self-confidence. Religious education in school is equally important. Govt should introduce education of all the religions in the school. Transparency will help to eliminate hate lessons and ensure level playing field. Through various stories the child will pick up values like Truth, Kindness and Non-Violence and develop purity of mind.
2024-09-20T00:00:00+0530Copyright (c) 2024 https://informaticsjournals.co.in/index.php/ajpem/article/view/45948The Two Birds2024-09-20T12:38:31+0530Purnendu Ghoshghoshiitbisr@gmail.com
No Abstract.
2024-09-20T00:00:00+0530Copyright (c) 2024
