Abstract

The study focused on the impact of information technology on library usage in b g s Institute of technology (BGSIT), b g nagara. The developments of information technology have made drastic changes in the way information is collected, stored, retrieved, and distributed. A structured questionnaire was designed for the survey, which was randomly distributed among 120 engineering college students of the b g s Institute of Technology, and 112 (93. 33%) complete questionnaires were received. The majority of the users searching library collection through OPA C scoring 41 (46.07%) where many respondents scoring 68 (60.71%) are satisfied with information technology service.
