Abstract
Problems involved in conducting large scale dietary surveys are as well known as the need for conducting them, particularly in India, Dietary surveys constitute one of the evaluation tools of a nutrition pilot study called Project Poshak being undertaken in Madhya Pradesh. It was necessary to standardize survey techniques on the rural Madhya Pradesh population which consists of both tribal and non-tribal families, and also because Medical and Paramedical Staff of Primary Health Centres, new to dietary survey methodology, were to be used as field investigators.Downloads
