Abstract

This superb and well illustrated monograph will be of interest to the research worker as well as the clinician. It documents in detail the early gain and later loss of cortical bone as seen in radiographs of tubular bones. Different chapters form a comprehensive description of how cortical bone is gained and lost at both bone surfaces.
