Jump To References Section
Abstract
Protein-calorie malnutrition is a problem of considerable public health importance among the pre-school children of the lower socio-economic groups, Someswara Rao et al and Pralhad Rao et al. Dietary surveys among these groups (Pralhad Rao et al) revealed that protein intake was adequate or marginal as compared to their requirements based on actual body weights. However, their calorie intake was found to fall short on the average by 300 calories per day.Downloads
