Abstract

The precise book 'Multiplicity study of marriages and births in Israel' is captivating epitome of an experimental study which aims to test the feasibility of conducting a multiplicity survey for marriages and births in Israel. This is the result of the untiring, co-operative efforts of the Central Bureau of Statistics and the National Centre for Health Statistics. The study is presented in six chapters describing the basic survey, the evaluation survey, results, discussion of specific points and summary.
