Abstract

There is widespread malnutrition in the world. The diet available in India, Indonesia and several other Asian countries averages less than 2000 calories per day. Inadequate education, large families, crowded farmland, exhausted soil, small scale and primitive methods, poor transportation and general poverty make improvement very difficult.
