Abstract

In developing countries which are facing shortage of grains and oil cakes, the utilisation of poultry litter as a constituent of a concentrate mixture will save some portion of the feed ingredients. Processed poultry litter and chicken excreta in conjunction with concentrates have been fed to ruminants in small quantities.
