Dietary Pattern and Nutritional Status of Spinning Mill Workers
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Nutrition plays an important role in the efficiency and welfare of the workers as adequate diets are essential for optimum output. A high percentage of industrial workers in India are malnourished due to low income, ignorance, faulty food habits, infections and infestations. The diets of a majority of Indian workers are based mainly on cereals and are grossly inadequate in protective foods. The diet must have adequate energy and other nutrients in order to improve the working efficiency.Downloads
