Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder in which the body's capacity to utilise sugar, fat and protein is disturbed due to insulin deficiency or insulin resistance. There is a greater incidence of non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) than insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM).Downloads
