Abstract
The promotion and maintenance of health is surfacing as a trend in the health care industry. A great deal of emphasis should be placed on this long neglected area of health care by both Government and the private sector. Hospitals should realise a new source of revenue by offering support groups and special services to assist citizens to acheive the goal of health. Healthy people need fewer hospitalization for acute episode care. This new trend in health care will also contribute to the decreasing trend of hospital census reflecting national health.Downloads
