Abstract

'Kodra' is a small round grain with a brown outer husk and 'kodri' is the dehusked grain of kodra and is referred to as 'varagu' in South India. The grain is used both as such and in the form of flour. Kodri is listed as varagu in the food composition tables published by the I.C.M.R.
