Abstract
Anaemia is a major public health problem of the world today. Recent research studies have revealed that 65 per cent to 75 per cent of the under privileged adolescent girls (10 to 18 years) in India are anaemic. Iron deficiency anaemia may be defined as suboptimal haemoglobin level due to lack of iron and with no available stores of iron in the body.Downloads
