Abstract
The industrial setup of any country is tine backbone of its economic stability, which is tandem and associated with an overall improvement in the quality of life. The pillars of any industry are primarily the employees. These employees are exposed to various health hazards in the industry. An accelerated epidemic of diet, nutrition and lifestyle related non communicable diseases (NCDs) are occurring globally. The proportion of death due to NCD is projected to rise from 59 percent in 2002 to 66 percent in 2030. Because of these there is growing concern in the field of occupational health for the diseases occurring in the work population in the recent years.Downloads
