Abstract
Alcoholism is a primary chronic disease with genetic psychosocial and environmental factors influencing its development and manifestation. The disease is often progressive and fatal. The World Health Organisation no longer recommends the term alcoholism but prefers the term alcohol dependence syndrome.Downloads
