Abstract
Motor fitness is a term commonly used for skill related fitness. Research shows that people who make an effort to learn activities involving motor fitness or skill related fitness are more likely to be active in sports and games for a life time. Optimum fitness and performance are influenced by many factors of life style and training. The dedicated sports man should consider his diet as an integral part of his training programme. This involves attention to daily nutrition as well as the specialized needs for sports. Therefore, it is essential to concentrate on eating a nutritious, balanced diet every day. This provides plenty of energy for growth and exercise. Studies conducted earlier showed the relationship between cardiorespiratory fitness, physical activity and dietary quality.Downloads
