Maternal and Biosocial Factors Influencing Pregnancy Outcome
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Pregnancy occupies a critical and unique place in the course of life, which has both health and social importance for individuals, family and the whole of society. A great proportion of Indian women belonging to low socio economic status are undernourished and a majority of them continue to be in a state of malnutrition throughout the period of pregnancy and lactation with no substantial improvement in their diet, work pattern or health care facilities. Studies have shown positive association between socio-economic level and maternal nutritional status.Downloads
