Abstract

Nutrition is an essential part of the mosaic of factors that determines the natural history and biological gradient of health. Health care and good nutrition improves people's standard of living by reducing sickness and child mortality and increasing life expectancy. Despite India's marvelous increase in food production, her nutritional problems continue to be formidable.
