The present work is an attempt to investigate information pertaining to various aspect of hydrobiology of a freshwater reservoir, popularly known as Manjalgaon Dam, located in Beed district of Maharashtra, along with is flora and fauna. A total of 33 species of phytoplankton, 29 species of zooplankton and 17 species of fishes were collected and identified from this reservoir during June 2008 - May 2010.
