On Some Fish Diversity Pattern of Sundarban Delta, West Bengal

Fish diversity pattern of Sundarban delta comprising a total of 120 fish species including freshwater (57 species), brackish water (42 species) and marine fish (21 species) is analyzed and presented. At the order level Perciformes, Siluriformes and Clupeiformes are the major contributors. Conservation aspect has also been cited.Downloads
