Abstract
Human culture developed and flourished in course of time through continuous interaction with their surrounding environment. Cultures of indigenous societies are varied and are closely linked to the native biodiversity. The linkages between indigenous cultural and biodiversity are reflected in their festivals, rituals and ceremonies. A study was conducted in the eastern part of Chhotanagpur to assess culture of indigenous communities linked with biodiversity. The study was based on questionnaire survey and focused group discussion with people from indigenous communities.Downloads
