Objective: To study the medico-ethnobiology of the tribals, Irulas and paniyas of Nilgiri district. Materials and methods: Field survey method was used. Results and conclusion: A list of twenty four flowering plants belonging to twenty three genera in sixteen families whose stem and stem bark are used by the tribals Irulas and Paniyas of Nilgiri district, Tamil Nadu with their local names, ethnomedicinal usages, dosage and mode of application have been presented.Downloads
