Abstract

Growth of Welding Industry in India largely depends on the advancement of technology and would require active involvement and participation of the R & D, Education and Standards Institutions. Simultaneously, efforts must be on to spread welding education to train engineers and technicians to cater to the changing role foreseen for them in the years ahead.
