Message from President, IIW India

Abstract

I must thank you all for electing me as the President of the Institute after serving as Hony, Secretary General since 2003 and hope, now with your support and co-operation will move the standards to a greater height.

The 'Make in India' campaign is driving change, innovation and investment in new processes throughout Indian manufacturing, not least in the field of welding and joining technologies. We are very much hopeful about the current Welding market in India. With the flourishing of 'Make in India' campaign of the Government of India, a real boost is clearly visible for indigenous manufacturing of welding related products. Foreign companies also increased their business with modern equipment and other accessories including cloud based technologies, which enables Artificial Intelligence as the trend.
