Abstract
As this issue goes to press, preparations are in full swing for the International Welding Congress (IWC-IC 2008) and the Weld India 2008 Welding Exhibition. The success of the earlier congress held in Mumbai in 2005 would give the organizers the confidence and the impetus to once again produce a very good show.
