From the Desk of the Honorary Secretary General

Abstract

At the outset, I must congratulate Jamshedpur Branch and the Organizing Committee, NWS 2014-15 for the very successful way they have organized our most prestigious annual event of the Institute, National Welding Seminar (NWS 2014-15) in association with TATA Steels Ltd, Jamshedpur. This was the second National event organized by the Jamshedpur Branch after almost 20 years. Along with National Welding Seminar, WELD INDIA the 9th Welding Technology Exhibition was also held. In this connection, I must acknowledge the generous and wholehearted support and active participation of Branch Members and also other senior officials of TATA Steels Ltd, Jamshedpur without whose help and hospitality, the National Welding Seminar as well as the Exhibition would not have been successful.
