An Evaluation of the Supplementary Feeding Programme for Preschool Children in the Rural Areas around Hyderabad City
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Protein calorie malnutrition is the most widespread nutritional problem of pre-school children in India. Considerable information has been accumulated regarding the factors that are responsible for its widespread prevalence. The solution to the problem obviously cannot lie in the treatment of such cases, but in their control and prevention. The economic implications of the situation cannot be under estimated since the cost of treatment of even a small proportion of cases will be considerable.Downloads
