Abstract

Man's progress towards a better world is basically dependent upon meeting steadily, the requirements of life in terms of food and health (King)'. The problems of food production and nutrition are intimately linked up together. During the past two decades, several improvements in Indian agriculture and animal husbandry have stepped up food production to a great extent, (Nagarajan).
