Abstract
It is now generally agreed that over a third of the world population is underfed. The FAO reckoned that in developing countries (which contain above 66 percent of the world population) about 20 per cent of the people are undernourished, in the sense that they are receiving too few calories; and about 60 per cent have diets that are not balanced, ie. diets deficient in specific nutrients.Downloads
