Abstract
The prevailing high prices and shortages in the country in almost all constituents of livestock feed had motivated animal feed scientists to explore and experiment with new wested, new conventional products to use them as animal feeds. Rubber seed is one such Agro Industrial product where for its profitable utilization as a non-conventional livestock feed science and technology can be perfected. Over 90 per cent of rubber plantation in India is in Kerala. Based on the statistics available on seed/cake production the total annual availability of rubber seed cake (R. S. C.) in Kerala is calculated to be approximately 37,500 tonnes.Downloads
