Abstract
Health is the birth right of every individual. According to the WHO, optimum health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being, and not merely absence of disease or infirmity Public hearth services involve organised community efforts towards maintenance of health, prevention of malnutrition and disease, control of communicable infections, promoting working efficiency, sanitation of environment, education of individuals in personal hygiene and nutrition, organisation of medical and nursing services for the early and preventive treatment of disease and the social machinery to ensure everyone an adequate standard of living organising these benefits, and to enable every citizen realise his birth right of health and longivity.Downloads
