The Present State of Protein-Rich Food Development in Asia and the Far East
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Malnutrition associated with protein deficiency is an important problem in many countries in South and East Asia. It appears to be widespread among children in India and Indonesia.where a large number of children showing signs and symptoms of protein deficiency syndrome have been clinically examined. Cases have been described in Malaysia, Philippines and Fiji. It is rather difficult to decide the exact incidence of the disease in any community as many cases could not attend the clinic for one reason or another.Downloads
