Abstract
Atherothrombotic diseases such as myocardial or cerebral infarction are serious consequences of the thrombus formed in blood vessels. The coronary arteries are particularly at risk from developing clots and may lead to myocardial infarction. Thrombolytic agents such as tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), urokinase (UK) and streptokinase (SK) are used all over the world for the treatment of atherothrombotic diseases.Downloads
