Abstract
Colocasia esculenta is a herbaceous monocotyledonous plant consisting of long flat heart shaped leaves with a slightly wavy margin. The corns are cylindrical in shape with short internodes and few side tubers. The crop is widely grown and used as vegetable in India as well as in Himachal Pradesh to offer supplementary potential source of calories, vitamins and minerals.Downloads
