Abstract
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) claims millions of lives which account for 64 per cent of all deaths reported in India. Indians all over the world have highest rates of mortality and morbidity from heart disease as compared to blacks, hispanics and other Asians. Prevalence of CAD in urban India is about double that of rural India (5%) and about four fold higherthan in US (2.5%).Downloads
