Abstract
Hypertension is the commonest cardiovascular disorder, posing a major public health challenge to societies in socio-economic and epidemiological transition. It is one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular mortality, which accounts for 20 to 50 per cent of all deaths. High blood pressure is fast emerging as a modern epidemic in the world, killing twelve million people annually worldwide, more than any other single disease.Downloads
