Abstract
The tribal group forms an important and sizeable segment of the Indian population constituting 30 millions' and they vary in terms of race, religion, culture, language, economic condttions and dietary pattern". The dietary pattern of the selected tribal people was peculiar by the inclusion of local or natural resources or uncoventional foods. Since there was no indepth study of these people, the present research was directed towards understanding the dietary practices of the Paliyar tribal group inhabiting the hill station Kodaikanal of Tamil Nadu State.Downloads
