Abstract

Nutrition of the Child is of Paramount Importance because the Foundation for Lifetime Health, Strength and Intellectual Vitality is Laid down during This Period. however Malnutrition - the Silent Killer, is India's Major Problem even Today. Supplementary Feeding Programmes Constitute the most Promising and Effective Short Term Measures to overcome This Problem among Children and Improve the Quality of their Performance in School.
