Jump To References Section
Abstract
One of the most important controllable nutritional problems in India and other developing countries today is vitamin A deficiency. It is estimated that every year about 70,000 children are likely to develop corneal lesions due to this deficiency. The problem is considered to be of public heath significance in 36 countries in South East Asia, the Western Pacific and Africa. About 20 to 40 million children are estimated to have mild Vitamin A deficiency at any point of time.Downloads
