Comparative Efficiency of Household Water Filters on Bacteriological Quality of Drinking Water
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Water is the main source of epidemics since it is universally used and supplied to a large population from a few centralised sources. Microbioiogical status is commonly employed for determining the quality of water because it acts as a source of certain diseases. During distribution, drinking water is exposed to microbial contamination. It is therefore not surprising that the factors affecting the microbial quality of potable water during distribution have been the subject of numerous studies. To make the drinking water more safer a post treatment system, in addition, at household level needs to be established.Downloads
