Abstract
'The world of food' by Eva Medved presents an overall view of foods of all kinds. It improves ones understanding and appreciation of food in all its aspects and helps in developing cookery skills and techniques. Each chapter on individual food items like cereals, fruits etc. is informative and interesting with colourful illustrations. Useful hints on tools used in cookery, suitable recipes from various foods, meal planning and preservation of food have been carefully included. The book will prove to be useful for teachers in foods and nutrition and beginners in nutrition.Downloads
