Abstract

In view of the fact that pulse proteins are deficient in lysine, threonine, methionine and tryptophan, it was thought worthwhile to investigate the effect of supplementation of some essential amino acids on tissue cholesterol and phospholipid contents of albino rats fed different pulse proteins at 12 per cent level.
